Our client is a well-established manufacturer that prides itself on precision and quality. In this role, you will work closely with the Cell/Shift Team Leader to achieve production objectives, maintain exceptional quality standards, and deliver precision work as efficiently as possible. You will take direct responsibility for the setup and running of key machinery, alongside overseeing daily maintenance and workplace safety. As a Machine Setter / Operator, you will play a central role in the smooth running of the manufacturing facility.
- Set up and operate machinery to perform essential tasks such as drilling, grinding and milling
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models to ensure absolute accuracy
- Load raw materials into the machines and adjust settings for optimal performance
- Monitor the equipment during operation, making necessary adjustments to speed, material feed and cutting paths
- Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure they conform to specifications
