The Role As an Assistant Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and efficient operation of a diverse range of machinery and systems, including steam boiler heating systems and hydraulic presses. Your responsibilities will include: Developing a strong working knowledge of all site equipment and machinery. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems. Diagnosing faults and taking ownership of problem-solving and root cause analysis. Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Prioritising and managing your workload to meet operational requirements. Supporting preventative maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
