Quarry Operative Location: Cerney Wick, Wiltshire Salary: £32,700.88 per annum Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 07:00-17:00 Contract: Full-Time | Permanent The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quarry Operative to join a busy and established quarrying operation in Cerney Wick. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience operating mobile plant within a quarry, aggregates, construction or similar environment. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of fixed and mobile plant, as well as supporting general maintenance and site operations. Key Responsibilities As a Quarry Operative, your duties will include: Operating fixed and mobile plant safely and efficiently as instructed by the Quarry Manager. Operating mobile plant including dumpers, loading shovels and 360 excavators. Carrying out basic repair and maintenance work on fixed and mobile plant. Completing routine checks and reporting any faults or issues promptly. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with site safety procedures. Providing cover for the Foreman or Weighbridge Operator when required. Supporting the wider quarry team with general site duties.
