We are working with a well-established manufacturing business to support a key HR project and are looking for an experienced HR Project Consultant to join them on a short-term basis. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you will take ownership of reviewing, updating, and implementing core HR documentation and processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the business is compliant, consistent, and set up for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update the employee handbook
- Audit and revise HR policies and procedures
- Support rollout of updated employment contracts
- Refresh job descriptions across the business
- Ensure compliance with current UK employment legislation
- Provide guidance on employment rights and HR best practice
- Work closely with stakeholders to implement changes
- Identify gaps and recommend process improvements
About You
- Proven generalist HR experience (Advisor level or above)
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience delivering HR projects or policy/contract reviews
- Able to work independently and drive outcomes
- Confident engaging with stakeholders
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent) desirable
