Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Days) Salary: £38-40K Location: Bath Type: Permanent Full time My client is looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their manufacturing company based in Wiltshire. The company manufacture precision parts, primarily serving the automotive, aerospace and power generation industries supplying a worldwide customer base. The company has three sites within the Southwest of England, one in Bath and two in Devizes and this position will be located within the Bath site Within the role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of various pieces of plant used within light precision engineering environment. You will be joining an established maintenance team, where duties will involve planned maintenance, new equipment installations and plant commissioning. The main duties/responsibilities will be: Electrical maintenance and installation of industrial and domestic plant including: BMS, boilers, AHU’s, hot and cold-water systems, chillers and DFU’s. Maintenance activities are logged and scheduled using maintenance system which will require updating after each activity Ensures that proactive, periodic and preventative maintenance are appropriately scheduled in line with production requirements and accomplished and that emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed. Ensures that equipment preventative maintenance services (PPM) are completed against maintenance schedule. Monitors and continually improves maintenance processes in line with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) standards. Active member of the maintenance team focused on improving the performance and efficiency of the manufacturing facility. Acts as mentor and guide for Electrical/Mechanical/ Maintenance apprenticesThe role will involve working a fixed day shift pattern as follows: Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 16:00 or 07:30 – 16:30 and Fridays 07:00-12:00 or 07:30 – 12:30 Skills/Experience required: The successful candidate will be a qualified Electrician, and you must hold 18th Edition in BS7671:2018 IET Wire Regulations and ideally have previous experience with various types of shop floor equipment including mills, lathes etc. In return my client offers a competitive salary package and benefits including private family healthcare
