Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30, Friday 08:00-16:00)

Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and experienced EHS Engineer to join our team on a temporary basis. This role will play a key part in strengthening Environmental, Health Safety compliance and risk management across our operations. The initial focus will be on clearing a backlog of risk assessments and COSHH assessments, while also contributing more broadly to the EHS management system and ongoing compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the completion and review of risk assessments and COSHH assessments across site operations
- Develop, maintain, and improve risk assessment and COSHH registers
- Support the effective operation of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 management systems
- Participate in incident investigations using structured methodologies (e.g. 8D)
- Support internal EHS audits and compliance monitoring
- Contribute to the review and maintenance of the legal compliance register and statutory obligations
- Maintain EHS records, registers, and required documentation
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning, including drills and audits
- Deliver EHS training across the site
