Our client is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Customer Service Executive to join their friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving customer queries and providing exceptional service, whilst developing valuable commercial and account management skills.

Working within a team of four and reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting both new and existing customers, preparing quotations, identifying opportunities to develop customer accounts and contributing to the continued growth of the business. There may also be opportunities to travel, including customer visits and attending international exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing customer enquiries and preparing quotations in a timely manner.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate additional revenue.
  • Proactively developing new business opportunities and converting leads into long-term customers.
  • Working towards individual sales targets while contributing to wider team objectives.
  • Delivering a high level of customer service throughout the sales process.
About You:
  • Previous experience within a customer service, sales support, internal sales or account management environment would be advantageous.
  • A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Organised with strong time management abilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • A strong problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable building relationships over the telephone and via email.
  • Willing to travel occasionally when required.

  • Salary of £24,000 - £25,000 per annum.
