If you enjoy practical, hands-on work and want to build a career operating modern machinery, this could be a great fit. We are looking for a Print Operator to join a friendly team near Chippenham, helping produce high-quality work in a well-established manufacturing business.
Due to ongoing demand, our client is expanding their team. While previous print experience is ideal, full training will be given to someone with good technical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a clear willingness to learn.
The role:
- Operate sdigital presses
- Maintain high quality standards while minimising waste and downtime
- Carry out planned basic machine maintenance and upkeep
- Ensure all work meets strict health, safety, and quality procedures
- Prepare printed materials smoothly for the next stage of production
- Follow production instructions from paper and digital work tickets accurately
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in digital print or a busy manufacturing background
- Experience using mechanical handling equipment is beneficial
- Comfortable working a continuous shift pattern
- Confident IT skills with strong attention to detail
- Practical, logical problem-solver who works well under pressure
- Reliable, flexible, and a supportive team player
Hours of work are on a continental shift pattern operating 24/7 (6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am).
Due to the shift times and location, having your own transport is highly recommended.
