I have been requested by our Client, a well-established and respected distributor of automotive parts and accessories to recruit a Warehouse Assistant for their busy depot in Frome.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team where no two days are the same.
Whether you already have warehouse experience or are looking to develop your career within logistics, this role offers full training, long-term stability and opportunities to grow.
The Role
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, storing and dispatching stock while maintaining high standards of organisation, safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries.
- Storing stock safely and efficiently.
- Updating warehouse information using computer systems.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets.
About You
We're looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
Ideally you will have
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential).
- Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.

- Starting salary of £26,436.
- £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.57 per hour following successful completion of probation.
- Full time and Permanent.
- Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30 (1 hour unpaid lunch).

- 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays.
