Due to ongoing growth, our client is seeking a motivated Bindery Operator to join their established team based in Mleksham.
While previous experience with bindery machinery is highly desirable, full training will be provided for candidates with a solid background in production or manufacturing who are comfortable working shifts.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operate specialist bindery and finishing equipment to high quality standards
- Learn and follow internal production processes to ensure efficiency
- Monitor machinery during runs and complete essential quality checks
- Prepare finished printed products for final dispatch
- Maintain accurate basic shift paperwork and logs
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines on the shop floor
Your Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production background
- Experience working shift patterns, including night shifts
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards
- Good practical skills with precise handling of machinery and materials
- Reliable, punctual, and a dynamic team player
- Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn new technical processes
Hours of work are on a rotating triple shift pattern, running Sunday to Friday (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am).
Due to the shift times and client location, having your own transport is highly recommended.
