About CMD

CMD Ltd is a leading designer and manufacturer of commercial power, office power and workspace solutions, operating at the heart of the UK electrical and commercial interiors market. We’re proud to be part of the Luceco Group, delivering innovative, compliant and commercially strong products through our UK-based teams and Far East manufacturing partners.

We’re now looking for an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of key product ranges and drive their commercial success from concept to end-of-life.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, commercially focused Product Management role in a fast-moving and highly competitive market. You’ll own the full lifecycle of assigned product ranges — shaping strategy, leading NPD, managing pricing and margins, and ensuring products are launched flawlessly and perform strongly in life. Working within a matrix organisation, you’ll collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Sales and Marketing teams, as well as our Far East manufacturing facility, to deliver profitable, compliant and differentiated solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the commercial performance of assigned product ranges, delivering revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Define and manage product strategy, roadmaps and business cases
  • Lead new product development (NPD) through structured Stage Gate processes
  • Set and govern pricing strategies, maintaining price corridors and margin protection
  • Drive product lifecycle management, including optimisation, cost-down and end-of-life decisions
  • Ensure accurate and compliant product data across PIM/ERP systems, packaging and documentation
  • Translate market insight and customer feedback into clear product requirements
  • Support go-to-market activity, sales training and key customer engagement

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience (typically 2–5 years) as a Product Manager in a manufacturing, technical or B2B environment
  • Strong commercial acumen, with hands-on pricing, margin and business case experience
  • Experience delivering NPD from concept to launch
  • Exposure to Far East or offshore manufacturing
  • Confident working cross-functionally, influencing without direct authority
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using Excel/data-led decision making
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

  • Experience in electrical, commercial interiors or building services sectors
  • Knowledge of UKCA / CE compliance and electrical standards
  • Experience working with PIM or ERP systems

What We Offer

  • A commercially impactful Product Management role with real ownership
  • The opportunity to shape innovative product ranges in a recognised UK brand
  • A collaborative, professional culture within a growing group
  • Competitive salary & benefits package
  • Hybrid working and long-term career development opportunities

If you’re a commercially driven Product Manager who enjoys owning decisions, working cross-functionally and seeing products succeed in the market, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now to be part of CMD’s next phase of product innovation.
