Our client is a well-established international manufacturing company that is currently expanding worldwide. They are now seeking a qualified accountant to join them in a high-profile role.

Duties will include:

  • Execute month-end close, including journals, variance analysis, and management accounts
  • Conduct cost and expense analysis to support cost control and efficiency improvements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
  • Present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Support payroll processing, including HMRC submissions
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and act as the primary contact for clients on record-keeping
  • Assist in statutory accounts preparation
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Coordinate with UK departments and overseas headquarters on management reporting
  • Develop analytical reports to identify variances, trends, and improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to forecasting and budget preparation

Ideally, you will be qualified (in industry or practice) and be looking to develop your career and progress to taking ownership of a finance function.
