An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced M&A Vice President to join a growing London-based team focused on the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious M&A professional with 5–7 years' experience in investment banking, M&A or corporate finance to take on a senior, high-profile role within an entrepreneurial and fast-paced business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in executing transactions, developing client relationships and driving business growth, with significant exposure to entrepreneurs, corporates, private equity firms and international investors.
The Role
- Lead M&A transactions from initial mandate through to completion.
- Manage client relationships and take ownership of live transaction processes.
- Prepare and review financial models, valuations, presentations and transaction materials.
- Play an active role in business development, origination and pitching for new opportunities.
- Develop relationships across the TMT sector, including entrepreneurs, corporates and investors.
- Work closely with senior leadership on transaction strategy and business growth.
- Manage multiple transactions and provide guidance to junior team members.
Candidate Profile
- 5–7 years' experience in M&A, investment banking or corporate finance.
- Strong track record of executing transactions from mandate through to completion.
- Exposure to the TMT sector or a genuine interest in technology and related markets.
- Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
- Strong commercial judgement and an interest in business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation and client management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously within a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior colleagues.
ACA, CFA or MBA qualifications would be advantageous.
