An exciting opportunity is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial professional to join a mid-market Investment bank within their Technology team at Junior Associate level. This team advises some of the most innovative companies across Technology throughout the EMEA region. Working closely with founders and venture-backed businesses, the group supports transformational minority and majority transactions, partnering with strategic acquirers and private equity sponsors at pivotal moments in a company's journey.
As an Associate, you will be at the heart of high-impact transactions, contributing meaningfully from origination through execution. You will collaborate with industry specialists, regional coverage teams, and product partners within a dynamic investment banking environment, having broad exposure and responsibility early on.
Responsibilities- Lead execution of M&A transactions from inception to completion, including marketing materials, financial analysis, due diligence, and deal documentation.
- Deliver rigorous valuation work and financial modelling to assess transaction structures, returns, and strategic outcomes.
- Develop compelling client presentation materials and insights.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, counterparties, and external advisors throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Associate-level experience in investment banking with a strong foundation in M&A; may consider Senior Analyst.
- Excellent technical and corporate finance skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and manage workstreams.
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management.
- Genuine interest in Technology.
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior M&A experience.
- Exposure to technology-focused investment banking (advantageous but not essential).
