Having recently secured a significant Series A investment, the company is entering a new phase of growth, building intelligent, automation-driven solutions that enable the next generation of digital and AI-powered platforms. They are now seeking their first senior finance hire to partner with the leadership team and drive scalable financial operations during this critical growth period. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a scaling technology business as a true strategic partner, working closely with senior leadership to shape financial strategy, develop robust processes, and build the infrastructure to support the next phase of growth. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a forward-thinking, business-minded approach, ensuring finance sits at the heart of commercial decision-making as the organisation continues to evolve.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations across multiple regions, covering a number of areas within the finance function.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting, including forecasts and variance analysis, to provide leadership with clear financial insights.
  • Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and tax advisors across relevant jurisdictions to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Support annual budget cycles and contribute to long-term strategic financial planning.
  • Design and implement scalable financial systems, controls, and reporting tools, ensuring processes keep pace with business growth.
  • Manage core financial processes, including banking, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and employee expense reporting.
  • Drive process improvement through automation and adoption of new financial tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven number 1 experience within a start up SaaS environment.
  • ACA / CA fully Qualified with relevant post qualification experience.
  • Exposure to UK & US accounting standards.
  • Strong Excel and systems skills.
