I'm working with a highly regarded boutique Investment Bank who are looking to secure an ambitious and commercially minded Associate Director to join their growing Consumer M&A team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading consumer brands, private equity investors, and entrepreneurial businesses across a broad range of transactions.

As part of a high-performing advisory team, you will play a key role in originating and executing mid-market M&A transactions, supporting clients through every stage of the deal lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of M&A transactions
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and transaction processes
  • Prepare and review financial analysis, valuation materials, and marketing documentation
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to origination activity
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Coordinate with legal, tax, debt advisory, and due diligence workstreams
  • Provide strategic insight into the consumer sector, including retail, e-commerce, food & beverage, leisure, and consumer services
Requirements
  • Significant M&A / corporate finance experience gained within an investment bank, advisory firm, or boutique
  • Strong execution track record across mid-market transactions
  • Deep understanding of the consumer sector and market dynamics
  • Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Strong commercial judgement and client management capability
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
