Our client is a large branded business seeking a commercially astute finance business partner to join them in a role where you will work with Marketing, Category Directors, and the executive team to drive optimal performance.
Duties will include:
- Provide analysis to drive insight into product mix, margins, and competitor pricing.
- Conduct pre and post-promotion analysis to understand effects, e.g., margin cannibalization.
- Work closely with product/category managers to understand and drive pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with operations to complete the budget planning process, providing influence and challenge.
This will be a true business partner role where you will influence non-finance colleagues to drive revenue at store level. Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant who has worked in a commercial role previously, ideally within the retail/leisure sector.
