An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced financial modelling professional to join a growing Advisory team.
This role offers the chance to lead complex modelling engagements, work with a diverse client base across multiple sectors, and play a key role in developing both the team and the practice.
The Role
As an Associate Director, you will lead the delivery of high-quality financial modelling assignments, partnering with clients to support strategic decision-making, transactions, restructuring, fundraising and valuations.
You'll combine strong technical expertise with commercial insight while mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development initiatives.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading financial modelling engagements from planning through to delivery.
- Developing, reviewing and enhancing complex financial models.
- Providing modelling analysis and commercial insights to support client decisions.
- Managing client relationships and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
- Reviewing team output to ensure technical excellence and best practice.
- Supporting proposals, business development and networking activities.
- Coaching and developing junior members of the team.
About You
You’ll be an experienced financial modeller with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality client solutions.
You’ll ideally have
- Experience within a Big Four, professional services or specialist financial modelling environment.
- Current Senior Manager (or equivalent) experience, ready to step into an Associate Director role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a strong understanding of financial modelling best practice.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong accounting knowledge and commercial awareness.
- ACA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
Desirable experience includes VBA, Power BI, restructuring or operational modelling, sector specialisms, and a track record in business development and mentoring.
