Our client is a well-known and respected hospitality business with a strong presence across the UK.
They are now looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Financial Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation where finance plays a key role in business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own thefixed asset registers for all entities and business partnering with the operationalteam on new projects. Producing group capex spend reports.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and supporting schedules
- Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Contribute to financial reporting and variance analysis
- Support cash flow reporting and monitoring
- Liaise with operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data
- Assist with audit preparation and external auditor queries
- Support ongoing process improvements within the finance function
About You
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
- Previous experience in a similar role (hospitality or multi-site environment desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and good technical accounting knowledge
- Confident using Excel and financial systems
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work across departments
- Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and progress professionally
