Responsibilities
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts, alongside budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
- Analyse financial performance against budgets, investigate variances and identify key trends to support the wider business.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (including VAT/Intrastat/Sales Tax); contribute to statutory accounts; strengthen financial controls and processes.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business, providing guidance and improving financial understanding to support better decision-making.
- Regularly communicate with the Head of Finance on key risks, issues, and opportunities, offering practical recommendations and solutions where needed.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, commercially focused finance team within a consumer-driven online business.
