Through continued success and growth, we are looking for a top Service Manager to join our successful team at our premium franchise dealership selling some of the market's leading and most popular motorcycle brands. Working with these brands, you must be well-presented and professional in order to be considered for this position. This exciting and challenging role requires a talented and incredibly motivated individual with a track record of managing a service department in the automotive sector. The role will oversee daily operations, service management, capacity management, management of staff, ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to, health and safety in the workshop and also customer management. The role also requires the ability to communicate at all levels, motivate a team and a passion to succeed. This would suit an existing high performing Service Manager or workshop controller looking to progress. CMC has been established for over 40 years and we are one of the largest motorcycle dealer groups in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Supervise technician performance
- Arrange training programs to enhance/maintain technician skill level
- Prepare schedules and plan staff duty rotations to ensure that servicing and repairs are completed as quickly as possible
- Manage the sales process to contact existing customers when their next scheduled service is due
- Identify aspects of the business that affect customer satisfaction, such as availability of courtesy vehicles or collection and delivery services, accuracy of costs, and quality of work
- Develop training programs to improve customer service standards
Remuneration / Benefits
- Basic Salary of £35,000.00-£45,000.00 depending on experience
