PROCESS ENGINEER / MANUFACTURING ENGINEER 2+ YEARS EXPERIENCE We are working for a leading manufacturing company based near Belfast. They are looking for a Process Engineer/ Manufacturing Engineer to report into their Head of Operations and take responsibility for a range of manufacturing and Process engineering projects. This role comes with and excellent career path. Role responsibilities: Work closely with all relevant departments to plan and implement the introduction of measurable and effective continuous process/workflow improvements. Carry out work studies and balance production processes to improve operational KPIs. Determine and introduce optimum facility and equipment layouts. Review and improve material flow throughout Manufacturing, using stock control and recognised lean manufacturing processes. Actively progress projects through the Engineering Change Process. Resource machinery and provide data to support applications for capital expenditure as part of continuous improvement. Assist in the planning and development of operational resources. Responsible for the operational introduction of New Products in-line with NPD processes. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Degree (minimum 2:2 classification) At least 2 years experience working within a Process Engineering role in a manufacturing environment Demonstrate experience of introducing measurable and effective process improvements Good organisational and project management skills Experience of lean manufacturing techniques or similar would be desirable.
