Our client is a well-established engineering company based in Newtownards, with a strong reputation across Northern Ireland's home improvement and construction trade. Due to continued growth, they now wish to recruit an enthusiastic and creative Part-Time Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a flexible, part-time basis.
THE ROLE
- Create and schedule engaging content across the company's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Maintain and update the company website with new products, news, and case studies
- Develop marketing campaigns to promote product range
- Design promotional materials including brochures, flyers, catalogues, presentations, and digital advertisements
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and customer newsletters
- Monitor website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign performance using analytics tools
- Produce photography and video content showcasing products, manufacturing processes, and completed installations
- Support the sales team by creating marketing materials and lead generation campaigns
- Coordinate attendance at trade exhibitions, customer events, and industry shows
- Liaise with external suppliers, printers, designers, and advertising agencies when required
- Ensure all marketing materials reflect the company's brand guidelines
- Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to improve the company's market presence
THE PERSON
Essential:
- Previous experience in a marketing, communications, or digital marketing role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and marketing software
- Experience creating digital and printed marketing content
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Desirable:
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design software
- Knowledge of website content management systems (CMS) and basic SEO
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
- Photography and video editing skills
- Experience within manufacturing, construction, home improvement, or the building products industry
HOURS
Part-time, approximately 16 hours per week, with flexibility on working days and hours. Occasional attendance at trade exhibitions or company events may be required.
