ACCOUNT MANAGER/ COMMERCIAL MANAGER – FMCG Working for one of Northern Irelands leading Food Manufacturing companies this is a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager in the Food Sector to join a successful company and enhance their career. THE ROLE To take responsibility for the management of existing accounts. Work with the Head of Sales in following up new leads within timescale, securing new accounts, processing orders and organising quotations for leading food retailers. Developing and delivering a sales strategy, selling a range of fresh and chilled products to UK multiple retailers. Developing strong and lasting commercial relationships with the relevant decision makers in UK multiple retailers. THE PERSON A minimum of 3 years successful Account Management experience with UK multiple food retailers i.e. M+S, Dunnes, Lidl or similar Commercially aware and a strong relationship builder who possesses good communication skills both written and verbal. Demonstrable experience of successful tendering/pricing in an FMCG company, liaising with the wider team including NPD/Logistics and Operations to retain existing and secure additional new business. Excellent negotiation skills.
