We are currently seeking an Engineering Administrator to join our team and provide vital support across technical, quality, and administrative functions. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and an interest in working in an exciting technical or engineering-led environment.
The Technical Support Engineer will support the smooth operation of technical and quality processes within the business. You will be responsible for maintaining documentation, supporting quality systems, assisting with technical authoring, and providing general administrative support to technical teams. This role would suit someone with a technical background or an engineering-related qualification, or someone looking to develop their career within a technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, updating, and controlling technical documentation, procedures, and records
- Supporting Quality Management System (QMS) activities, including document control and audit preparation
- Assisting with technical authoring of work instructions, manuals, reports, and procedures
- Maintaining registers, trackers, and filing systems (electronic and hard copy)
- Providing administrative support to technical and quality teams
- Coordinating information between departments and supporting day-to-day operations
- Ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant, and up to date
About You
Essential:
- 2+ Years in a support role in a technical environment
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Desirable:
- 2+ Years Technical background or qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience working in a technical, engineering, or quality environment
- Knowledge of document control, quality systems, or technical authoring
- Ability to understand and work with technical information and drawings
