As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Trainee Health & Safety Advisor to join our Health & Safety Team in Cardiff. Working closely with experienced Health & Safety professionals, you’ll gain valuable experience in risk management, auditing, incident investigation, legal compliance and safety culture development whilst progressing towards Health & Safety Qualifications. We remain a family business with family values and offer a working environment that supports hard work and encourages an enjoyable working environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
  • Support accident and incident investigations
  • Maintain Health and Safety records and documentation
  • Help deliver inductions, toolbox talks and safety communications
  • Monitor compliance with company procedures and legislation
  • Support Managers in promoting a strong safety culture
  • Assist in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in training and work towards professional Health and Safety Qualifications
  • Provide general support to the Health and Safety Team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Full UK driving license (essential)
  • Motivated individual that can work as part of a team and to their own initiative

  • Committed to following procedures and ensuring tasks are fully completed
