CMap is a fast-growing software company helping project-based businesses win, deliver, and manage work profitably. At our core, we’re a software company. We’re proud of our product and even prouder of our people. Collaboration, openness, and input from across the business drive both our culture and our success. We keep things friendly and informal, but we’re serious about building something great together.
Are you the kind of person who brings calm, structure and organisation wherever you go? Do you love making things run smoothly behind the scenes? If so, this brand new role could be perfect for you. We’re looking for a People Operations Coordinator to become the operational heartbeat behind our internal events, office coordination and wider business logistics. This is a role for someone who loves planning, organising, problem solving—and ensuring everything just works. This is not a community or front of house role. You won’t be hosting events and will rarely need to attend them in person. Instead, you’ll be the planner, strategist and organiser making sure every moving piece fits together perfectly.
What we're looking for:
- Event Planning & Logistics: You’ll take ownership of planning and coordinating our internal events, including:
- Business wide kick-offs, summer parties, Christmas parties and internal socials
- Training days and meeting schedules
- Logistics for our Customer User Forums—managing attendees, venues, suppliers and timelines
- Budget management, travel arrangements and supplier coordination
- Working closely with internal teams to define requirements and keep everyone aligned
What value you can bring:
- Highly organised with strong logistical planning skills
- Confident managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
- Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently
- Someone who enjoys bringing order, process and clarity to busy environments
- A natural problem-solver, even if you haven’t worked in events or logistics before
- Experience in events is a bonus—but not essential. What matters most is your ability to take ownership, think ahead and keep things running seamlessly.
Why work for us:
This is a rare opportunity to shape a new role from the ground up. You’ll have the freedom to build processes, elevate our internal events and make a meaningful impact on the way our business operates. If you thrive behind the scenes and love making things better, smoother and more organised, we’d love to meet you.
You will also get access to:
- Private medical & dental insurance: Supporting your health and wellbeing with access to private care.
- Life assurance: Providing extra financial security for you and your loved ones.
- Help@Hand: 24/7 support for your health and wellbeing.
- Enhanced parental leave: Offering time and support when it matters most.
- Reward Gateway: Access to discounts on a wide range of everyday purchases.
- Team outings and events: Regular chances to connect and unwind.
Research has shown that people don’t always apply for roles if they don’t have all the required skills. If you believe you are the right fit and can be successful in this role, we are keen to meet you and encourage you to apply. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability status.
