This key role within the CMA's Digital Products and Application Support team owns the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for enterprise products, ensuring alignment to CMA priorities and user needs while supporting the delivery of a product‑led operating model.
Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, including delivery, live service, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure services remain reliable, secure, and aligned to user needs.
- Drive the introduction of new capabilities, including the adoption and enablement of AI.
- Manage prioritisation and backlog, balancing business demand, live service needs, and technical constraints.
- Collaborate with the Head of Products and Applications, stakeholders across the CMA, and external suppliers.
- Influence, challenge, and communicate effectively at different levels, including engaging with and managing external suppliers and third‑party support providers.
- Leverage data, insight, and user feedback to inform product decisions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience owning or managing products/services in a complex enterprise or regulated environment.
- Experience with enterprise applications such as Unit4 (Agresso), Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, or similar platforms.
- Strong prioritisation and backlog management skills.
- Experience in IT service environments (SLAs, incident/problem management, service performance).
- Experience in Agile / DevOps environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and influence skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices (desirable).
- Familiarity with application architecture, configuration, and integration concepts (desirable).
- Relevant Microsoft or Agile certifications (e.g., Dynamics, Azure, Scrum/Product Owner) (desirable).
