What will the Tax Manager role involve?
- Overseeing the submission of all tax and duty returns for the organisation and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Managing Corporation Tax returns and liaising with HMRC and other authorities for all tax-related queries
- Supporting cross-border transactions and Customs and Excise issues, providing expert advice across teams
- Collaborating with external professionals and internal stakeholders on tax compliance and planning
- Assisting the Senior Tax Manager on new projects, tax advice, and regulatory updates
Suitable Candidate for the Tax Manager vacancy:
- Qualified or working towards a recognised accounting or tax qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ATT)
- Experience in tax legislation, returns, and compliance, with strong IT and data analysis skills
- Understanding of financial processes, controls, and process improvements in a corporate or charity setting
- Meticulous, deadline-driven, and committed to high professional standards
- Effective communicator, capable of educating non-financial colleagues on complex tax issues
