An Assistant Accountant vacancy has become available to join a thriving manufacturing organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fabulous, career enhancing position and would suit a graduate, who has some work experience and strong Excel skills, including V Look ups and Pivot Tables.
Responsibilities
- Analysing financial data and investigating variances to support operational decision‑making
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes to contribute to strategic financial planning
- Liaising with staff across departments to resolve price and cost queries
- Producing accurate financial reports and identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Supporting ad hoc financial analysis and administrative duties as required
- Candidate Profile
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Some relevant accounts or financial analysis experience.
- Demonstrating proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and familiarity with accounts systems.
- Displaying strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Being proactive, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively across teams.
