Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is a newly created position following a departmental restructure. You'll play a vital role in the daily financial operations, working as part of a small and close-knit team of three. The role is mainly office based, with flexibility offered once you're established in the role.
What will the Assistant Finance Manager role involve?
- Supporting financial control activities, including preparation of monthly and quarterly financials
- Delivering core financial accounting duties, including P&L and balance sheet preparation
- Managing payroll and VAT tasks (training on payroll available if required)
- Driving performance analysis and supporting KPI reporting
- Participating in the Financial Statement Closing Process (FSCP)
- Managing banking activities and processing supplier payments
