Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will act as a catalyst for change across the business, helping to streamline processes, introduce new technologies and enhance reporting capabilities, while also contributing to core finance and compliance activities. What will the Project Accountant role involve? Leading projects focused on process improvement, automation and the use of AI and technology across finance and operational functions Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, improve reporting and strengthen knowledge management processes Acting as the key link between operational users, software providers and leadership teams during system implementations Supporting colleagues with training and adoption of new technologies and ways of working Managing and developing internal reporting processes, ensuring information is accurate, timely and insightful Maintaining and enhancing investment and financial information systems Supporting company secretarial and governance requirements, ensuring compliance obligations are met Reviewing management accounts, VAT returns, year-end reporting and related financial information. Working collaboratively across finance, compliance and administration teams on a range of strategic initiatives Contributing to the ongoing development and scalability of the estate operation Suitable Candidate for the Project Accountant vacancy: Ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant or qualified by experience Experience within a finance, accounting or professional services environment Strong interest in technology, AI and process improvement Experience delivering systems enhancements, process changes or business transformation projects Comfortable balancing strategic project work alongside hands-on financial responsibilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities High levels of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail Previous practice experience would be advantageous, but not essential Additional benefits and information for the Project Accountant role: Annual salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience Annual bonus review Enhanced employer pension contribution Private medical cover & Life assurance Hybrid working available following probation CMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
