Assisting in month-end closing processes, including preparing journals and reconciliations Accruals and prepayments Contributing to VAT submissions and ensuring data integrity across financial systems Managing supplier relationships, resolving invoice discrepancies, and monitoring cash flow Supporting in escalated queries across accounts payable and receivable supporting the transactional team Participating in finance projects and continuous process improvements to optimise efficiency Adhoc reporting for various departments Cashflow and forecasting Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Management Accountant vacancy: Experience working with a similar position and ideally working towards professional finance qualification, or qualified by experience Demonstrates strong attention to detail Proficient in Excel, the ability to manipulate data Able to manage multiple priorities effectively, meeting deadlines consistently Shows excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach Additional benefits and information for the role of Assistant Management Accountant: Opportunities for progression, to grow with the company longer term Study support Hybrid working, 2 days a week working from home Free parking 21 days holiday + Bank holiday Salary dependent on experience CMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
