This role offers meaningful exposure to senior finance leaders, external stakeholders and group-level reporting, making it an excellent move for someone looking to build a long-term career in treasury and financial reporting.What will the Treasury Accountant role involve? Preparing high-quality treasury reporting for internal and external stakeholdersProducing borrowings and financial instruments disclosures for interim and annual accountsActing as a key link between Treasury and Group Financial ControlOwning and developing group cash flow forecasting and liquidity reportingManaging and enhancing the treasury control environment, including testing and policy complianceSupporting Treasury Committee activity and wider treasury projectsGaining exposure to ad hoc work including cost of capital and business planning initiativesSuitable Candidate for the Treasury Accountant vacancy: Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and/or AMCT qualified, or keen to pursue treasury qualificationsStrong technical accounting or reporting background, ideally within a complex organisationExperience in, or strong interest in, treasury, cash flow forecasting and liquidity managementSolid understanding of IFRS and financial controlsConfident communicator who can work with both finance and non-finance stakeholdersDetail-focused, organised and comfortable working with complex dataCurious mindset with an interest in improving processes and controlsAdditional benefits and information for the role of Treasury Accountant: 26 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays, increasing to 28 days plus 8 Bank HolidaysMarket-leading defined contribution pension with up to 18 percent employer contributionLife assurance at 8 times salaryIncome protection at 75 percentAnnual salary review linked to CPI / cost of living each JanuaryEmployee Assistance Programme, peer support and Virtual GP accessWide range of wellbeing, retail and voluntary benefitsStrong learning, development and internal progression opportunitiesCMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
