CMA's Weymouth client requires a confident Credit Controller to join their finance department on a permanent basis, due to rapid growth within the business. You will be joining a small team of credit controllers. Our client is expanding and due to a high volume of work require this additional resource to complement their current finance team. Paying a salary of up to £32,000 per annum. This is an ideal role for an experienced Credit Controller who can add value quickly; additionally you will have the opportunity to improve processes and efficiencies within the business.
Responsibilities
- Business to business credit control via the phone and email while building rapport with key customers
- Monitoring the debtor book on a daily basis and updating senior management on progress
- Weekly progress review and ascertaining best actions
- Re-negotiating payment terms with customers and agreeing payment plans
Qualifications
- Previous credit control experience within a business-to-business environment is essential
- A confident negotiator, able to interact with customers with a professional yet persuasive approach
- You will have the ability to interact with people at all levels to get the best outcome
- Confident using accounting software such as Sage and Excel to an intermediate level
