Distribution Group based in Havant, Hampshire has a requirement for an Interim Financial Controller for a 4-month period to undertake the day to day management of the finance function during a period of change and transition. What will the Interim Financial Controller role involve? Reporting to the Managing Director, the key responsibilities of the Interim Financial Controller position will include: Preparation of all statutory returns and liaising with external auditors Provision of monthly analysis and results providing insight on performance by product and division to aid business planning and strategic decision making Production of monthly management accounts, overseeing the annual budgeting process and associated monthly reforecasting providing commentary on any variances Ensure that all internal controls and processes are in line with group standards and external requirements Suitable Candidate for the Interim Financial Controller vacancy: Applicants for the position will be available on short notice and have previous experience of working with a similar position within an SME environment Detail orientated with the ability to see and understand the strategic direction and larger corporate picture Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively with non-finance individuals at all levels across various departments within the business Additional benefits and information for the role of Interim Financial Controller: The role will be office based and the expected duration of the assignment will be four months Daily rate will be dependent on experience CMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment business in relation to this role.
