CMA Executive is partnering with a highly successful international manufacturing business to appoint a Finance Director. Operating at circa £120m revenue, the organisation has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and customer service across global markets. With an established international footprint, extensive export activity and a diverse customer base, the business continues to invest in growth, product development and operational excellence.
The opportunity has arisen following the promotion of the current Finance Director into a Managing Director role elsewhere within the wider group. As a result, the business is seeking an experienced finance leader who can build upon a strong platform and play a key role in shaping future performance and growth.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Director EMEA and forming part of the senior leadership team, the Finance Director will lead the finance function whilst partnering closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to drive business performance across the region. This is a broad and influential role, combining strategic leadership with operational involvement. You will be a trusted adviser to the Managing Director, helping shape business strategy, support commercial decision-making and ensure the continued delivery of strong financial performance. Alongside responsibility for the full finance function, the role also provides leadership oversight of IT and significant exposure to international operations, including a global manufacturing and supply chain network.
The Candidate
We are seeking a commercially minded and technically strong finance leader with a proven track record within an international manufacturing environment. You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and bring experience leading the complete finance function with full P&L responsibility within a business of comparable scale. You are likely to offer:
- Significant senior finance leadership experience within a manufacturing business
- Experience operating within an international environment
- A strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chains and inventory-led businesses
- The ability to influence and challenge at Board level whilst remaining hands-on when required
- Experience leading finance teams and ideally broader functions
- A collaborative leadership style with the credibility to build relationships across operational, commercial and executive stakeholders
Why Apply?
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded international manufacturer in a genuine Board-level leadership position. The successful candidate will join a business with a strong market position, ambitious growth plans and a proven track record of developing senior talent. The role offers significant visibility across the wider group, exposure to international operations and the opportunity to play a meaningful part in shaping the future direction of the organisation. A highly competitive package is on offer, including a base salary of £120,000-£140,000, depending on experience, bonus opportunity of up to 100%, car allowance and executive benefits.
