CMA HR Recruitment is assisting a fast paced business located on the outskirts of Portsmouth, for the recruitment of a HR Advisor to join their well established team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

This is a varied role that will report to the Senior HR Business Partner and provide generalist HR support to the organisation.

What will the HR Advisor role involve?

  • Advise on complex employee relations issues such as disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Coach and support managers in handling sensitive employee situations in line with company policies and employment law.
  • Ensure that HR practices are in compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure they align with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure effective talent acquisition strategies.

Suitable Candidate for HR Advisor vacancy:

  • Possess strong HR generalist experience gained from a large corporation.
  • A HR certification such as CIPD level 5 or equivalent is preferred.
  • Possess an excellent understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence and advise.
