Job Description

A well-established UK charity is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join its Senior Management Team.\\n\\nThis is a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the CEO and Trustee Board to shape long-term strategy, ensure financial sustainability and support the continued growth and impact of the organisation’s services across the UK.\\n\\nAs Head of Finance you will lead the charity’s financial strategy and operations, ensuring robust governance, strong financial controls and insightful reporting to support effective decision-making.\\n\\nWhat will the Head of Finance role involve?\\n\\nCollaborate with the CEO and wider Senior Management Team to set strategic direction and develop financial strategies and budgets. \\nOversee finance operations, ensure timely reporting, and lead the annual audit process.\\nManage budget-setting and performance tracking, providing insightful analysis to internal stakeholders and the Board. \\nSuitable Candidate for the Head of Finance vacancy:\\n\\nACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified. Accountant with strong leadership skills, a strategic, open and balanced mindset.\\nA hands on approach when required and a commitment to improving financial processes. \\nYour exceptional communication skills will allow you to explain complex financial information to various audiences and help them understand the impact on the wider charity and the potential future options. \\nYou will also possess an excellent understanding of financial management, compliance, and governance.\\nAdditional benefits and information for the role of Head of Finance\\n\\n25 days holiday.\\nPension.\\nCar parking.\\nSalary dependant on experience.\\nCMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
