CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a highly successful and growing Hampshire-based technology and manufacturing group in the recruitment of a Senior Management Accountant. Working closely with the Finance Director and partnering with stakeholders across multiple business units, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, driving continuous improvement, and providing valuable commercial insight to support business performance.

What will the Senior Management Accountant role involve?

  • Leading the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting analysis
  • Ensuring financial records are maintained accurately throughout the year and are audit-ready
  • Managing month-end processes, ledger reconciliations and financial controls
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns and maintaining VAT compliance
  • Managing intercompany reconciliations across the group
  • Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Developing insightful management information and performance reporting

Suitable Candidate for the Senior Management Accountant vacancy:

  • ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent fully qualified accountant
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or product-based environment
  • Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
  • Solid understanding of VAT and statutory accounting requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insight
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
