An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Analyst to join a well-established international business during a period of change and transformation. Operating within a dynamic and collaborative environment, this organisation is seeking interim support to assist with key financial modelling and analytical activities, ensuring business-critical reporting remains accurate and insightful. This role would suit a commercially minded finance professional with strong FP&A experience who enjoys partnering with stakeholders across the business and is comfortable working with complex datasets to support informed decision-making.

What will the Finance Analyst role involve?

  • Maintaining and enhancing financial models relating to operational costs and billing data, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the contract period.
  • Supporting senior finance stakeholders with detailed financial analysis and modelling to aid business decision-making.
  • Managing and reconciling multiple data sources, ensuring reporting outputs remain robust and reliable.
  • Working closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders to gather information, validate assumptions and maintain data integrity.
  • Providing ad hoc analysis and project support as business requirements evolve.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and supporting the wider finance team with ongoing transformation initiatives.
  • Delivering accurate reporting while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Analyst vacancy:

  • Proven experience within FP&A, financial analysis or commercial finance.
  • Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets.
  • Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders and external vendors, communicating financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Experience of Power Query and/or Business Intelligence tools would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities and working independently when required.
