Manufacturing Group based in Gosport, Hampshire, has an opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to support with the day-to-day management of the Finance function.
What will the Interim Finance Manager role involve?
- Reporting to the Financial Controller, the key responsibilities of the interim Finance Manager position will include:
- Supporting the preparation of all statutory and corporate statements and returns within set deadlines;
- Production of monthly management accounts and associated monthly reforecasting providing commentary on any variances;
- Ensure that all internal controls and processes are in line with group standards and external requirements;
- Management of finance team of 5 ensuring tasks are completed to set timescales.
Suitable Candidate for the Interim Finance Manager position:
- Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with a proven track record of working successfully in a similar role where they have demonstrated strong reporting and financial control capabilities;
- Detail-orientated with the ability to see and understand the strategic direction and larger, corporate picture;
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively with non-finance individuals at all levels across various departments within the business;
- Proven team leadership and development skills.
