This exciting business, which is highly profitable and has seen YoY growth (even through Covid-19), is searching for a high calibre Financial Controller who is able to support the growth journey to join their Senior Leadership Team. In return this organisation is able to offer a strong benefits package and a route to Finance Director within 12-18 months. What will the Financial Controller role involve? Working closely with the Managing Director and SLT, this position will oversee the finance team with full oversight of the financial operation of the business. Take a ‘hands on’ approach to day to day duties and develop the finance team for succession planning. Advise and provide strategic input into business growth plans. Liaise extensively with senior stakeholders to ensure finance information is fully understood to aid decision-making. Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy: Candidates will be fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) and will have experience operating at the Financial Controller level with aspirations to be a Finance Director. Sector experience will ideally come from a service based business and may have been gained in an SME or corporate environment. Posses a commercial and strategic mind-set, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
