CMA Recruitment Group are recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join an international manufacturing business located on the outskirts of Portsmouth, Hampshire. This role will support a key area of the business which has recently seen an increase in activity. As such this position is ideally suited to a high calibre candidate looking to further progress their career.
What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?
- Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the main responsibilities of the position will include:
- Working with non-finance managers to produce annual budgets.
- Providing financial analysis on annual costs including variance analysis and monthly reforecasting.
- Providing full cycle project accounting support for new initiatives from proposed development through to implementation and final sign off.
- Assisting with the ongoing development of the strategic plan and providing financial support for business case proposals.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner position:
- Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification and a proven track record of working successfully within either a Financial Analyst, Project Accountant or Finance Business Partner role.
- Exposure to working with Government contracts and in particular the MOD would be highly beneficial.
- Exceptional communication skills are essential as is the ability to effectively challenge and develop existing processes.
