A highly successful and long-established construction business based in Portsmouth is partnering with CMA on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join its busy, collaborative team. You will take sole ownership of the finance department with 3 direct reports. This is a great opportunity for somebody who has experience within the construction industry who is looking to join a forward-thinking growing business and have a direct impact on the day-to-day functionality of the business.
What will the Finance Manager role involve?
- Production of Management accounts including commentary.
- Monthly VAT submissions including reverse VAT.
- Ownership of the Sales Ledger and Credit control process.
- Daily, Weekly and Monthly cashflow management and reporting.
- CIS returns and liaison with HMRC.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:
- In-depth knowledge on the construction industry including CIS experience and knowledge of reverse charge VAT.
- Strong IT skills including SAGE 50 and Intermediate Excel.
- Previous team management experience is desired.
