CMA is delighted to be supporting a well-established business with the recruitment of a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis. Working within a friendly, purpose driven central team, this role plays a key part in ensuring smooth, accurate financial operations across several sites. This opportunity would suit an enthusiastic finance professional who enjoys a mix of transactional finance and payroll duties, and who thrives in a role with real variety, community impact and supportive colleagues.
What will the Finance Assistant role involve?
- Processing purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Raising sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
- Supporting the management of both the creditors and debtors ledgers, including resolving queries, settling invoices and helping to recover outstanding income
- Expenses
- Supporting in processing of end to end payroll
- Processing payroll adjustment such as SSP and SMP
- Supporting in setting up new starters and finishers on system
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:
- Experience in a finance support role, ideally with exposure to both transactional finance and payroll
- Strong organisational skills, with confidence handling multiple deadlines
