CMA is currently partnering with an exciting business based near Whiteley. My client boasts a long-standing team across the business due to their employee focused culture. My client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager with processing the day-to-day transactions. The role is office based 37.5 hours a week, with parking onsite and offers a fantastic benefits package including a discretionary bonus.
What will the role involve?

Processing purchase ledger and sales ledger invoices.

Post and allocate payments.

Processing bank transfers.

The preparation of month end transfers and the sending of BACS transfers.

Month end debtor and prepayments journals and quarterly checks.

Month end expenses for staff.

Bank reconciliations.

New cashbook reconciliations.
Suitable Candidate:

Transactional finance experience across either sales or purchase ledger.

Strong attention to detail.

Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with stakeholders regarding invoice queries.

Confident in the use of Excel – pivot tables and v lookups.
