Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of the month‑end close process and ensuring accurate, timely reporting
- Producing and reviewing profit and loss, balance sheet and cash‑flow reporting
- Overseeing VAT, statutory accounts, year‑end audit and wider financial compliance requirements
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and ongoing financial planning activity
- Providing robust financial insight to support operational and commercial decision‑making
- Working closely with senior stakeholders in a fast‑moving, private‑equity‑backed environment
- Driving improvements in financial processes, controls and reporting through SAP
Qualifications
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Proven experience in a hands‑on Financial Controller or senior finance role
- Commercially minded with appetite to learn, grow and add value beyond core reporting
- Familiarity with SAP beneficial
- Available at short notice, ideally immediately or within one month’s notice
