With the business entering an exciting period of strategic expansion over the next 3-5 years, this role will take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, controls and reporting, whilst leading the finance function through its next stage of evolution.

What will the Senior Group Financial Controller role involve?

  • Full ownership of finance operations across the Group, leading the controls framework and ensuring consistent standards across all subsidiaries.
  • Lead statutory reporting, audit and governance processes, providing high-quality management information to the Board and Audit & Risk Committee.
  • Run the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts, ensuring strong forward visibility across performance, cash and working capital.
  • Oversee working capital management and cashflow forecasting, supporting lender and shareholder obligations with robust financial insight.
  • Lead Group tax compliance and planning, including corporation tax, VAT and transfer pricing, working closely with the CFO on strategy.
  • Drive continuous improvement in finance systems, data integrity and digital enablement, ensuring accurate, timely and trusted reporting.
  • Manage and develop the finance leadership team across geographies, building a high-performing, scalable finance function.

Suitable Candidate for the Senior Group Financial Controller role:

  • Fully qualified with significant experience in senior operational finance roles within multi-entity groups.
  • Ability to partner senior stakeholders, strengthen controls and support strategic growth initiatives.
