Job Description CMA is partnering with a growing and forward-thinking organisation to recruit a Financial Reporting Analyst. This position sits at the heart of the finance function and will play a major part in modernising financial and KPI reporting across a multi-entity group. Working closely with Finance Manager and project teams, you’ll streamline processes, enhance data structures, and build reliable reporting solutions that support smarter, faster decision-making. What will the Finance Analyst role involve? Managing finance and operational data, investigating discrepancies, and contributing to data reconciliation activities Supporting system administration and user queries, including testing and system upgrades to improve functionality Collaborating with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis to inform decision-making and strategic planning Consolidate data from multiple sources and ensure consistent, validated reporting outputs Build scalable Excel, Power Query and Power Pivot models, with scope to support dashboard development Strengthen data structures, workflows and templates to support a system upgrade and ongoing process improvements Suitable Candidate for the Finance Analyst vacancy: Demonstrates advanced Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis techniques Knowledge or keen interest in Power Query, Power Pivot, or other BI tools, with a proactive learning attitude Exhibits strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy, integrity, and large dataset management Possesses a good understanding of management accounting principles and analytical problem-solving abilities Confident communicator capable of supporting colleagues effectively with finance systems and data Additional benefits and information for the role of Finance Analyst: ~ enhanced pension contributions ~22 days holiday plus bank holidays ~ Office based Our Privacy Notice can be viewed under the privacy tab on our website.
